15 Minute No Excuses Workout

I do expect some violins to be playing as I tell you that I get it! No, I really do! Having time to really focus on your own workout can be really tough!

When I ran my own gym the best shape I was in was when the gym was first open and I didn’t have a lot of clients. There was plenty of time for me to train, but that isn’t what I wanted my life to be! As I got busier and busier it seemed time for me to get a workout became harder and harder. Even though I basically LIVED in the gym, by the time I could train myself my energy level was way below empty.

Today can be the same struggle. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in the middle of a workout and my phone rings, or I get a text that says, “CALL ME NOW!” You might say put your phone away, but the reality is many of us live lives where we are on call, decisions need to be made on the spot, people need to talk to us that moment, the world seems more urgent than ever.

Thankfully I know that 15-25 minutes is all I really need nowadays. Since I do focus on DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training movements I get so much done in so much less time. I need to do some strength training? Check! Cardio? Check! Flexibility? Check!

Yea, I know you think this all sounds too good to be true, but I never said that 15-25 minutes was EASY. If it were everyone would do it, that’s why so many people still go for the hour long marathons. They get their little pump in, but not too much else. But hey, they don’t have to work all that hard and push themselves to that level of discomfort.

You might think that is a bit mean, but I’m trying to get people away from the idea that fitness can’t fit in their lives. So many people still look at these long workouts and think that is what you have to do it great shape. No, just like any other aspect of your life, you have to be smart! That is what DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training is, making your fitness workouts smarter!

In order to demonstrate that point check out the work DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training coach, Sean Lettero is doing. A DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complex he shows below can be a whole workout by itself! If you don’t believe me, try the following…

Perform 5 repetitions going to your left, rest 20-30 seconds

Perform 5 repetitions going to right, rest 20-30 seconds

Continue going back and forth for 15-25 minutes (I recommend 16 to keep it even and if you have never tried this before).

You will see that great workouts don’t have to be a lot of time and the reality is real results shouldn’t be take over your life!
