I have long said is the best part of DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training is not what it is, but what it does for you! After all, isn’t that THE most important thing?
With that in mind, I want to share with you some of the best DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training exercises you aren’t doing. I am not going to lie, these are rather advanced! They are intense and are going to leave your body begging for mercy. What is a better feeling though?
My favorite is what is called the Bulgarian Split Squat with Arc Press. Not only does this exercise hit EVERY muscle in your body, but it trains stability and strength all at once. It hist your core, upper, and lower body.
It only takes a few repetitions to feel this DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training exercise! Most find it completely humbling. You can make a feel changes to this DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training drill to fit your goals and current fitness level.
Perform the Arc Press at the top of the Split Squat instead of the bottom (the bottom position is a TOUGH press!)
Use a lower step, or no step at all. The higher the step the more intense this DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training exercise.
This was a fun hotel workout that DVRT Master Troy Anderson and I shot while on the road at a top fitness conference. We ducked into the hotel workout room and I think we scared a few folks. Most of all we got an amazing workout in a short amount of time and we didn’t have to use being on the road as an excuse not to keep on our fitness goals!
