What does “movement strength” look like? I mean we talk so much about in DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training. The truth is that the “movement strength” we talk about in DVRT can be a lot of things. From the very simple to rather complex. Why? Because that is how our body learns and it often depends on the goals. It would be awesome to say everyone should do “this”, or “that” exercise, but the truth is it really depends. Yea, I get it, grey sucks. When things are black and white things are a lot easier.
EVERYONE should deadlift
EVERYONE should overhead press
EVERYONE should squat heavy
The truth is that if you have a system, then you can decide when and if certain exercises are right for you. You see the exercise is far less important than the movement. This is something that people SAY they understand, but their programs often demonstrate otherwise.
Here is the cool part, you can do anything you can imagine with DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training, but learning the SYSTEM of DVRT gives you that direction to actually achieve those goals. Tomorrow, I am going to share with you exactly that, how to start really understanding and using the DVRT system.
Today though I wanted to show you both creativity and purpose with the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training system. DVRT Master, Larisa Lotz, LOVES to use DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training to work on her movement skills. In this great circuit she shows off some of those moves. How can you do the same? You can either set a timer for 25 minutes and see how many rounds you can achieve, or aim for 5-7 rounds.
