Sometimes even I forget!
Yes, sometimes I forget the over 700 videos we have put out on DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workouts. However, after being reminded by some of you of your favorite DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workouts we have done, I’ve decided to go back into the vault once in awhile and highlight some of the really great stuff you may have missed and some that you have not!
Today does contain one of my favorite things with DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workouts. Not just the fact we can do combination movements, but we can do so in angles and positions really impossible with anything else. These moves are not just challenging, but they help us learn how to move smarter, where our weaknesses lie, and are awesome to build the real world strength I believe we are all after.
That doesn’t mean that Ultimate Sandbag workouts are about giving you something different, but actually giving you something better! That when we talk about building real world fitness, we HAVE to discuss how we move in life rather than just looking to build just more gym strength. When you learn how we move in life, you start to understand just how much we really miss when we think of terms of exercises, rather than movement!
That doesn’t mean we can’t combine more familiar movements with our DVRT concepts. Even when we do perform more common exercises with the Ultimate Sandbag the instability creates a whole new effect. What is a good example? Strength Coach Wil Flemming has put out a great example of how Ultimate Sandbag workouts can be created so easily and accomplish so much!
Exercise | Reps | |
A | Split Clean | 5/side |
B | Rotational Lunge | 4/side |
C | Push Press | 8 |
D | Front Loaded Good Morning | 8 |
E | Shouldered Get-Up | 2/side |
Check out today’s DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training combinations to see what I am talking about! You can make just one of these a whole workout, or the perfect way to finish off a challenging training session. I’ll guarantee you one thing, you will feel amazing after you really tap into the world of movement strength!
