To even HINT that the Sylvester Stallone “Rocky” character was anything but a hero seems just unAmerican! In fact, my wife asks me to change the music whenever a Rocky song comes on. Such things make me question our marriage!
I use to watch Rocky movies to get “pumped up” pre-game during my playing days and had the soundtrack for those days where workouts were less than appealing. So, it may shock you to hear that this weekend I began to think how misguided Rocky was in many of the movies. Of course, you can’t argue the first wasn’t anything but a classic, but funny how most of us remember the movies like Rocky IV (yes, the Ivan Drago classic fight) more so.
Why would I say such a sacrilegious thing?! The idea of Rocky pushing through unimaginable odds, working harder than any human could tolerate, all seems like a recipe for the classic underdog story. That is what we love about Rocky. However, I began to feel that people associate working hard with always working smart. Many still hold onto the belief the more you beat yourself up, the more effective your workout. All the things that we saw in the Rocky series all the time!
I think these are the same reasons people have a hard time starting and actually following a fitness program. Unless that are in unbelievable pain and agony it can’t be really any good. The more you do the better the workout, the more you pour sweat and almost pass out, the closer you are to your goals. Isn’t that the Rocky ideal?
The reality is that fitness and success don’t have to be so brutal. Hard work is of course necessary, but smart, purposeful, and planned work is much better. That is really the essence of the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training system.
No doubt DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training programs aren’t easy, but they aren’t about slaughtering yourself either. Following the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training principles allows you to actually get great results, but improve your wellness as well. I know, a good fitness program and actually not hurting seems almost oxymoronic. After all, I can’t tell you how many times I see people running down our street and week after week seem to be adding more braces around knees, ankles, and so forth.
Real functional fitness like the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training system should be able to be progressive, accommodating, and fun. All the things we typically DO NOT think of fitness programs really being.
Sounds good, but where do you start? The idea behind DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training was to develop maximal results and almost infinite options with actually very little equipment. When people ask me what I use in training, I often tell them mostly what they see in our DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training videos. It all comes back to knowing why.
For women, our Power Ultimate Sandbag Training package allows maximal versatility. People are often thrown off by the lower weight of our Power Ultimate Sandbag Training package, but don’t let the weights fool you. As one of our DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training customers just wrote in, “It’s much lighter than barbell weights I use at the gym but the introduction of stabilization and rotation makes everything feel heavier. I’m still getting used to the different exercises but I know my muscles get exhausted much quicker than with dumbbell or barbell.” -Marci C.
What about the guys? We usually recommend the Strength Ultimate Sandbag Training package. I know, I know, some of you ladies are asking, “can’t I use the Strength Ultimate Sandbag Training package?” and guys you are wondering if you just go heavier to the Burly Ultimate Sandbag Training package.
Of course guys, women you can definitely hit some heavier training with larger Ultimate Sandbag Training packages. Guys, going heavier isn’t ALWAYS the answer for you too! Remember, the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training system is far more than “being like a barbell”. It is a very unique fitness system that if you take the time to go through our teachings, have a little patience, and truly believe that DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training can be the answer, you will be rewarded.
Don’t take it from me, but someone who has used the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training system to dramatically change their own life!
“I am so excited. I am a mother of two and have never gone to a gym I workout faithfully with your Ultimate Sandbag Training and the lebert equalizer. I watch your emails you guys send me every week.
