If you have been living under a rock, you may have noticed that there has been this thing going on called “March Madness”. Yes, the crazy annual event of having 64 college basketball teams in a tournament where one loss means you are out! The madness refers to the upsets and unpredictability and lets say this year has lived up to the madness again. Now, I understand not everyone wants to fill out brackets, heck, Jessica HATES basketball (the irony is not lost on me), but even she has embraced her pick of Kentucky (not exactly going out on a limb, but none the less).
So, we wanted to have fun with the concept of the tournament and give you a March Madness DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training workout. Who better to construct such a thing that DVRT Master Chief Instructor, Troy Anderson. If you know Coach Anderson’s work, you know this isn’t for the faint of heart. The good thing is the sense of accomplishment as you move through it is well worth the effort! Now, you can rest at any point (even within an exercise itself), but the goal will be to do this workout faster and faster over time. You can use it as a once a week, every other week, or even a once a month DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training bench mark challenge. The most important part is to have fun with it and challenge yourself to have perfect form even though fatigue will want to grab a hold of you!
If you love his work, you can check out more from Coach Anderson HERE. Enjoy the madness!
