I love the fact that after almost 13 years of doing DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training we can bring you some of the most interesting, honest, and great people in the fitness and health industries. We don’t have to worry about bringing you people with giant email lists in hope we can cross promote, rather, the wonderful people we get to meet and find so intriguing ourselves we want to bring your attention to as well.
Leslie Schilling is a great example of that! I’ve stayed away from nutrition talk because it is so emotional and such a giant subject. When I met Leslie and her husband, Brian, I became so intrigued in so much more than macros, keto, paleo, or whatever. Hearing Leslie’s unique perspective on nutrition behavior was absolutely fascinating and I found myself getting mad at myself.
If I knew some of the information Leslie is sharing with us today when I was training clients on an every day basis I think I would have been able to help WAY more people.
That is why this might be the best, most honest, and game changing nutritional talk you have ever heard. Check out this great interview I did with Leslie HERE. Check out her site LeslieSchilling.com
Through her years as a dietitian and nutrition expert, Leslie has practiced in many settings including infant nutrition, general pediatrics, and children with special health care needs. With her warm, compassionate, and entertaining personality, Leslie been featured in Women’s Health, BuzzFeed, the Huffington Post, USNews, and HGTV. She is also the co-founder of RDs for Body Confidence, a non-diet and healthy body-image initiative for registered dietitians and nutrition students throughout North America and Australia. She owns Schilling Nutrition, a private nutrition and wellness coaching business and an online dinner menu planning service. When she’s not counseling, writing, cooking, or hanging out with her family; you can find Leslie using her social media channels and speaking platforms to deliver science-based, non-diet lifestyle and wellness messages with a dash of humor. Her most recent endeavor was coauthoring the book Born to Eat.
