I think the holidays are a time to enjoy yourself, family, and friends. I also don’t believe that you have to sacrifice all that you worked for all year in your fitness! There is a balance and one of the things I am most proud of with our DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workout programs is that it gives people simple, efficient, and really fun/challenging solutions to their functional fitness.
I often claim that DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workout programs allows you do more in less time with less equipment. While that may sound like a sales pitch to some of you, the truth is we are testing out our own material all the time! Just like this DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workout that just allowed me to focus on three movements for a bit over 30 minutes of work (yea, I figured I could use a few extra minutes of work;)
As you can see, that was a HECK of a Ultimate Sandbag workout!!! I didn’t have to kill myself with crazy exercises, ruin myself with pounding the crap out of my joints, I could work REALLY hard AND still make myself better!
So, what was this mysterious Ultimate Sandbag workout? Pretty simple, set your timer for 20-30 minutes. You will probably want a heavier and lighter Ultimate Sandbag (Powers and Strengths work great!).
You want to do as many rounds as you can resting only as long as you need to feel like you can do the next exercise well again.
-5 Up Downs to Overhead Press
-10 Shoveling each side
-5 Crawls to Bird Dogs
You will notice this isn’t a race with this Ultimate Sandbag workout that is why a longer time period can be both good and bad! People are shocked at how moving slowly can often be a greater butt kicker than trying to move fast! Don’t worry though, this DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training workout has it both!
So, I hope you have an amazing holiday and use this workout to keep motivated so you do into 2018 stronger and healthier than ever!
