You ever have that moment?
You’ve been searching for the right words to describe what you REALLY mean, but you just haven’t been able to find them?
That is how I have felt for almost ten years! Yea, I am a bit slow as they would call it.
I’ve been looking for the right words to describe what we really try to be about at DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training. It came to me as I was doing research on an article about old time strength training.
Fitness wasn’t always about burning calories, getting ripped, and build good looking bodies. The idea of “physical culture” started in the late 1800’s because there was a concern that more modernization of our society was causing disease due the lack of activity. Man, can you imagine what those people would think of today’s world?
My point is that fitness use to be about developing the mind, body, and movement. Not just to enhance the physical, but the person as a whole. That really inspired my idea of how many philosophy of strength training has really evolved and the essence of DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training.
DVRT is about strengthening movement. What does that mean? Look at how our bodies were meant to move, be athletic, and relatively free of problems. Yea, smart and thoughtful fitness programs can do JUST that!
When I think how DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training has not just let me shed weight, get lean, or really freaking strong, I think how it has helped them improve their well-being. Help them overcome ailments, reduce pain, and basically give them their lives back.
It isn’t easy, real work, like DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training takes commitment and the willingness to look at what your body can and should be able to do. That is why most of our DVRT Ultimate Sandbag workouts aren’t just about endurance, or just strength, or just fun movement looking drills. Every time I try to bring elements of all these to the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training workout, after all, I believe this is really what we mean when we talk about being “fit”.
Today’s DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complex is no different. It isn’t meant to be done once a week. Each week seeing if you can either perform more repetitions within a set, perform all the reps in less time, use more load, or move more efficiently.
I love DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complexes because they make you use all sorts of movement. As hard as they are, they come with the amazing benefit of challenging all the qualities of fitness. However, DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training workouts aren’t meant to be just talked about, but done!
