As more and more time goes on I find myself thinking the same during my workouts, “how can I get more done in the same amount of time?!” It isn’t about being able to spend MORE time in the gym for me, it is about making sure the time I spend it used the best ways possible. Is DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training really the answer to all these fitness questions?
Of course there will be those that say you can’t have it all when you train. You can’t get strength, conditioning, and movement based training all at the same time, can you? That sounds like a lofty promise from something that seems out of the norm like DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training.
Well, you can’t get elite levels of these fitness qualities, but how many of us are aiming for elite? Like I am talking pro athlete needs. The truth is most of us are looking to strive for better and are needing our workouts to give us more because life is definitely asking us to do more than ever!
It doesn’t mean your workouts have to turn into some Sunday morning infomercial where you jump around for 30 minutes. That’s just making you tired, that isn’t about making you better! Yes, they are NOT the same thing!
So, how can you be smart, do more, and get greater results? I’m not going to lie and say it is easy, it takes work! However, the pay off is well worth it and I believe by focusing on moving our bodies as they are designed by nature, there is an even deeper reward.
Okay, okay, how can we do it? DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complexes tend to be an easy answer. These are series where you perform multiple DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training movements at once. Sure, they aren’t exclusive to DVRT, but the way we do them is!
A lot of people end up being really inefficient even with complexes. Often they fall into the trap of not really moving much or using the same pattern over and over. If you want to get more out of your training you don’t just squeeze more into the workout, you do smarter things!
Setting up your DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complex can be done in two different ways. You can do something like the following:
-Clean to Fists x 5
-Squat x 5
-Row x 5
You perform the whole sequence back to back until completed and then rest. This works well, but one of my personal favorites is more of a flow series. That is transitioning from one movement immediately to another. I like this style a lot because it tends to make the body fall into what feels like a very natural pattern.
DVRT Coach, Jon-Erik Kawamoto shows a great lower body DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Training complex that will not only get your heart rate jacked up, but build some serious real world strength!
Getting the type of fitness so many of us desire doesn’t have to involve hours upon hours in the gym, but it does require focused, purposeful, and smarter workouts. That is why we are so dedicated in giving you better strategies to achieve your goals!
